BlockBeats News, July 21: According to Forbes, London-based humanoid robotics company Humanoid, founded just two years ago, has developed its humanoid robot HMND 01 at a pace nearing industry records. Today, Humanoid announced the completion of a $152 million Series A funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $1.35 billion. The round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from German industrial giants Schaeffler and Bosch. Additionally, Aglaé Ventures, an investment firm backed by the Arnault family, founders of LVMH, also joined the round. This funding comes just months after the company signed a significant commercial partnership. Previously, Humanoid had reached an agreement with Schaeffler for the purchase of 1,000 humanoid robots and, with Bosch's support, secured production capabilities to achieve a capacity of 100,000 robots over the next five years.
