[CoinShares Launches UCITS Platform for European Institutional Investors] According to GlobeNewswire, CoinShares has announced the launch of its UCITS platform and introduced its first product, the CoinShares Bitcoin Mining UCITS ETF, which is traded on Deutsche Börse Xetra. Building on its existing crypto ETP foundation, the platform taps into Europe's approximately €26.3 trillion UCITS-regulated fund ecosystem, targeting large institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance platforms, and private banks. CoinShares has obtained authorization from the Central Bank of Ireland, allowing the group to reuse the same UCITS vehicle to quickly roll out more digital asset and thematic strategy funds at a low marginal cost.
