Tencent Integrates Workbuddy and QClaw Teams

According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 21, Tencent announced an internal organizational adjustment on July 20. The relevant businesses and certain teams of Tencent's QClaw Product Center will be transferred to the Cloud Product Division 6. The QClaw product will continue to operate. QClaw, developed by Tencent's Computer Manager team based on OpenClaw, began beta testing in March this year. Media reports indicate that its user base exceeded several million within a week of launch. Cloud Product Division 6 is also the department responsible for Tencent's other AI office assistant product, Workbuddy. Over the past six months, Workbuddy has risen rapidly. On July 20, the latest "2026 Q2 China Office Assistant Platform Market Insights Report" released by Analysys showed that Tencent Workbuddy achieved over 20 million monthly visits on the domestic PC-based AI-native office assistant market in June, maintaining its leading position in the market, surpassing the combined total of the second and third places. As Workbuddy quickly becomes a leading AI office product in the industry, the positioning and integration direction of Tencent's various Agent products have drawn significant attention.
