According to Bloomberg, citing data analysis from Polysights, approximately $200 million in bets on the Polymarket platform from January to June 2026 were flagged as having characteristics of suspected insider trading. These bets were primarily focused on geopolitical events like the Iran war and the Venezuela situation. Analysis shows that 57% of the profitable wallets were created within 24 hours before the trades, with some linked wallets profiting around $1.6 million by betting on events related to U.S. military actions. The report states that a significant portion of the suspected insider trading funds were deposited via U.S.-regulated exchanges, with about 71% of traceable funds in Iran-related markets originating from U.S.-regulated crypto exchanges. Polymarket stated that it has strengthened monitoring and has submitted nearly 100 suspicious wallet addresses to law enforcement agencies. https://(wublock123.com)/news/bloomberg-polymarket-insider-trading-2026-h1-200m-64976
