**[Superseed: Migrating from Proprietary L2 to Ethereum Mainnet, Users Must Transfer Assets Cross-Chain by August 15]**
Foresight News reports that the CDP lending protocol Superseed has announced it will abandon its proprietary L2 network and migrate the entire ecosystem to the Ethereum mainnet to directly access Ethereum's liquidity and RWA ecosystem. Superseed stated that after giving up its independent chain infrastructure, all engineering resources will be focused on application development. Core products include the native lending protocol, self-repaying stablecoin suprUSD, and yield strategies under Super Strategies, where protocol revenue will replace L2 gas fees to repay user loans.
The Superseed L2 chain will officially cease operations on August 15. Users holding assets such as USDC, USDT, cbBTC, and ETH must complete cross-chain transfers before this date. The project cannot guarantee asset recovery for users who miss the deadline. For users holding SUPR tokens, balances will be recorded at the time of deactivation if the deadline is missed. These users will later be able to claim native Ethereum SUPR through a dedicated contract, with specific details to be announced at a later date.
