Recently, it seems like the top exchanges are really stepping up their game with tokenized US stocks. After OKX launched its spot trading feature, this market is likely heading towards a full-on competition in terms of products, depth, and liquidity. Tried out OKX's stock token feature today—placing orders with USDT, available for both spot and futures trading. The overall depth was better than I expected. Also, OKX supports strategy tools like grid trading, DCA bots, and dual investment on US stock trading pairs. What I find most interesting here is OKX's approach to unified liquidity. Right now, there are many tokenized US stock issuance paths in the market: Ondo, xStocks, bStocks… each with its own assets, chains, and liquidity pools. Everyone's trading popular stocks like NVDA and TSLA, but the liquidity is scattered across different platforms. OKX's approach feels more like this: No matter where your tokenized US stocks come from, they can all be aggregated into a unified X US stock asset system. For example, XNVDA. In the future, NVDA tokens from different issuers could all converge and trade on OKX, even being used as collateral in portfolio margining. This would unlock deeper trading and more use cases for the assets. Latecomers don’t necessarily have to copy the path of their predecessors. While others are still building separate pools, OKX is choosing to connect the pools. This strategy is pretty interesting . The US stock market is currently worth around $75 trillion, while tokenized stocks are still in the very early experimental stages. Over the next decade, asset tokenization will likely go beyond just putting stocks on-chain—it will reshape trading, collateralization, portfolio margining, and global liquidity. In the short term, it’s about the speed of launching. In the long term, it’s about infrastructure. What OKX showed me this time is precisely the latter.
