Bitmine increased its holdings of 7430 ETH last week; Repurchase approximately 5.5 million common shares at an average price of $15.6156
BlockBeats News: On July 20th, Bitmine Chairman Thomas "Tom" Lee announced that the company repurchased approximately 5.5 million shares of common stock last week at an average price of $15.6156, with the aim of enhancing shareholder value. This repurchase comes from the previously approved $4 billion stock repurchase plan. Meanwhile, Bitmine increased its holdings of 7430 ETH last week. Lee stated that since the launch of the Ethereum treasury strategy on June 30, 2025, the company has been continuously purchasing ETH every week, and the recent slowdown in purchasing speed is mainly due to stock repurchase activities. In terms of pledging business, Bitmine has pledged 4917189 ETH worth approximately 9.2 billion US dollars as of July 19th, accounting for 85% of its total ETH holdings. The company stated that its ETH staking scale currently exceeds that of any other entity in the world. Bitmine is conducting ETH staking business through its institutional level staking platform MAVAN and plans to open its services to institutional investors, custodians, and ecosystem partners in the future. The company expects that after all ETH is pledged through MAVAN and partners, the annualized pledge income may reach approximately $290 million.
