Nobody knows how many bitcoin nodes exist. The listening ones can be counted, but the silent ones can’t, by design. There could be millions and millions of computers running the Bitcoin software with a fully audited copy of the blockchain protecting it and we have no idea.(Documenting ₿itcoin 📄)
