The Ministry of Justice and the Prosecutor's Office explained that they focused their efforts on combating three major malicious crimes that threaten public life: voice phishing, financial and digital asset crimes, and drug-related crimes, achieving tangible results. First, the Voice Phishing Crime Joint Investigation Team of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutor's Office prosecuted 471 individuals and detained 169 individuals between July 2025 and May 2026.
