Foresight News reports that the token launch platform vladfun on Robinhood Chain tweeted that on July 15, during the platform's launch, two participating developers secretly launched their own tokens and hardcoded them into the frontend, causing users to only see these tokens at launch while other creators' tokens were invisible. The team identified the anomaly within two hours, immediately dismissed the two developers, removed the malicious code, and recovered part of the funds. vladfun was rapidly built by a small team of five within 48 hours. The involved developers initially attributed the issue to RPC failures and caching, but evidence showed that the tokens were manually hardcoded during the final submission. Subsequently, the developers requested disabling branch protection in the repository to roll back and delete the related code. However, as the team had completed timestamped backups of the entire repository, relevant evidence was preserved. Currently, the two developers have returned approximately $15,000 in creator fees and test token proceeds, with the recovered funds (around 7.8 ETH) deposited into the team's secure wallet. The team stated that they never approved the issuance of vladfun tokens and will prioritize addressing the concerns of affected users.
