[David Sacks: AI Safety Restrictions May Weaken the Competitiveness of U.S. Models] Odaily Planet Daily News - David Sacks, Chair of the U.S. President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, posted on the X platform stating that the Kimi K3 model recently completed 15 critical security vulnerability fixes, while Codex and Fable refused to process related requests due to 'cybersecurity protection mechanisms.' He noted that there is no reason to restrict U.S. models from performing these tasks due to safety limitations, while Chinese models can complete them without issue. Doing so will only diminish the competitiveness of the U.S. itself.
