Latest Core Data and Insights on Bitcoin Market:
BTC rebounded above 64,800 over the weekend, pulling back from the 62.8K support level. Momentum on both the 1-hour and 4-hour charts has improved simultaneously. The Fear & Greed Index recovered from extreme fear to 28-34, moving out of the extreme panic zone.
Geopolitics has become a key short-term variable: Iran announced it would stop adhering to the Iran-US memorandum of understanding, accusing the U.S. of breaking its promises. Two oil tankers hit mines and exploded in the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran declared the strait completely closed. International oil prices surged over 3% in after-hours trading, and BTC broke through the 64,000 mark.
ETF net inflows this week were approximately $75M-$181M, with BlackRock's IBIT leading the way, pushing total assets under management past $78B. However, since July, fund flows have alternated between inflows and outflows, showing no sustained one-sided trend.
Summary: Geopolitical factors are providing short-term support for BTC, while ETF fund inflows are adding further backing. However, macro policy uncertainties remain, and the market is in a tug-of-war between bulls and bears. BTC is still trading within a broad range of 58K-68K, with prices consolidating in a narrower range of 62.5K-65K, building momentum.
