Just bought some rQQQ on Bitget. The process is pretty much the same as buying spot—USDT gets directly executed in the unified account. Super convenient and fast.
The really interesting part is that after buying rTokens, they’re not just sitting in your account waiting for price swings:
1️⃣ You can hold them to get exposure to the corresponding U.S. stock price and receive net dividends that follow the rules.
2️⃣ Put them into the unified account, and they can continue to serve as margin.
3️⃣ Some rTokens can even be used as collateral to borrow USDT or USDC, so you don’t have to sell your holdings just to free up liquidity.
In simple terms:
One rToken can do three jobs.
Sure, traditional U.S. stocks can also be used for financing, but assets usually stay within the brokerage system, making it hard to integrate with the contracts, margin, and stablecoin liquidity in your crypto account. Most tokenized U.S. stocks out there only solve the buy-and-sell part.
Bitget’s rToken is like putting U.S. stocks, margin, and lending into one single liquidity pool.
I’ll prioritize using it to hold assets I already plan to keep long-term—like dollar-cost averaging into QQQ—and only use very low leverage.
