[Following Samsung and SK Hynix, ASML Plans to Grant Employees a €20,000 One-Time Bonus as AI Demand Drives Performance Growth] BlockBeats News, July 18 – Dutch company ASML Holding will grant a one-time bonus of €20,000 (approximately $22,862) to its global employees. As demand for artificial intelligence drives sales to record highs, the company joins a growing number of chipmakers in sharing performance bonuses with employees. The company plans to grant stock rewards to global employees on January 1, 2027, provided they remain employed throughout the vesting period. These rewards will fully vest by early 2030. This move by ASML comes amid a global AI construction boom that has significantly increased demand for its products. Previously, chip manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix had also distributed bonuses to employees. As investments in AI infrastructure generate massive returns, more of the most profitable companies are facing pressure to share greater profits with their employees. In May of this year, TSMC also pledged to increase the average profit-sharing for employees by more than 30% this year.
