[Foundry to Decide Signal Support for BIP-110 via Miner Hashrate Weighted Voting] According to Bugle.News, Foundry has announced that it will determine whether to support the Bitcoin soft fork proposal BIP-110 through hash rate weighted voting by mining pool account holders. The voting will be calculated based on the average hash rate of accounts over the past 10 days. If the hash rate of supporting votes exceeds 51% of the participating voting hash rate, Foundry will send support signals in all blocks mined. If it does not exceed 51%, Foundry will continue to refrain from sending support signals, with non-voting accounts defaulted as opposing votes. BIP-110 aims to limit the storage size of non-monetary data (such as OP_RETURN) in Bitcoin transactions.
