[Bitcoin Japan Plans to Spend Approximately $4.069 Million on Its First Bitcoin Purchase] According to Foresight News, citing a report from CoinPost, Japanese publicly listed company Bitcoin Japan plans to spend 660 million yen on its first Bitcoin purchase. The company will issue unsecured convertible corporate bonds with stock acquisition rights (total issuance amount of 1.5 billion yen) and the second tranche of stock acquisition rights (593,779 units) through a third-party allotment via the Cayman Islands-registered investment fund EVO FUND. Including funds raised through the exercise of stock acquisition rights, the net proceeds after deducting related expenses are approximately 9.657 billion yen (about $59.5234 million). Of this, 660 million yen (approximately $4.069 million) will be allocated for the company's first Bitcoin purchase.
