[X Updates Creator Revenue Sharing Program, 'Reply for Follow' and Other Induced Interaction Behaviors May Lead to Account Suspension]
BlockBeats News, July 16 — X's product lead Nikita Bier announced that X has updated its creator revenue sharing program. Accounts that induce interactions through methods such as 'reply for mutual follow' three times or more will be removed from the program and referred to the policy team for evaluation on whether the account should be suspended. Grok is now capable of identifying such behaviors, and nearly 4,000 accounts were removed from the program on the same day.
X's new model detects duplicate content with three times the efficiency of the old model. Even if re-posters add watermarks, intros, or other modifications, the monetization exposure will still belong to the original uploader. This rule also applies to copied popular text posts. Nikita Bier stated that the platform detected 1.5 million stolen posts during this cycle. Accounts engaging in repeated infringement or deliberately evading detection will be removed from the creator revenue sharing program.
Through these adjustments, over $1 million in revenue will be redistributed to original content creators. [Original Link]
