[X Governance Creator Revenue Share Program: Nearly 4,000 Accounts Removed, Over $1 Million in Earnings to Be Returned to Original Creators] Odaily Planet Daily News – X platform's product lead Nikita Bier announced that the platform is upgrading the anti-cheating mechanisms of its Creator Revenue Share program, focusing on combating engagement bait and content plagiarism. Bier stated that if an account repeatedly posts 'engagement bait' content, such as 'Reply and I'll follow everyone,' or similar interaction-pulling behavior, accumulating three or more instances, it will be removed from the Creator Revenue Share program and referred to the policy team for further action, including potential account suspension. Currently, X has identified such behaviors using the Grok AI system, and nearly 4,000 accounts have been removed from the revenue program today. Additionally, X's updated content recognition model can detect duplicate content with three times the efficiency of previous models. The platform clarified that simply adding watermarks, intros, or making minor edits will not qualify for earnings, and related monetization revenue will be returned to the original content creator. This mechanism also applies to copied viral text posts, such as 'Twitter is the smoking area of the internet' and other widely shared content. According to Nikita Bier, during this detection cycle, X identified approximately 1.5 million instances of stolen content. For accounts that repeatedly or deliberately evade detection, the platform will revoke their eligibility for creator revenue. X stated that through these governance measures, it is expected that over $1 million in earnings will be redistributed to original content creators, aiming to enhance the quality of the platform's content ecosystem.
