US ITC issues Section 337 final ruling on foreign manufactured semiconductor devices and their downstream products and components On July 16th, according to Sina Finance, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) has voted to initiate a 337 investigation (investigation code: 337-TA-1511) into certain Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) devices and their downstream products and components (II). Claiming that the product exported to, imported into, and sold in the United States violates US Section 337 (infringing US registered patents 12646537 and 12650937), we request the US ITC to issue a limited exclusion order and injunction. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Suwon, Republic of Korea, Samsung Electronics America, Inc., Plano, Texas, Samsung Semiconductor, Inc., Plano, Texas, Google LLC, Mountain View, California, Super Micro Computer, Inc., San Jose, California, NVIDIA Corp., Santa Clara, California, Broadcom Inc., Palo Alto, California are listed as defendants. The US International Trade Commission will determine the end date of the investigation within 45 days after filing the case. Except in cases where the United States Trade Representative vetoes a relief order based on policy reasons, the relief order issued by the United States International Trade Commission in the 337 case shall take effect from the date of issuance and shall have final effect on the 60th day after the date of issuance.
