[SpaceXAI Announces Open Source Grok Build] According to Golden Finance, on July 16 (local time July 15), SpaceXAI, a company under Elon Musk, announced the open-sourcing of Grok Build and lifted all usage restrictions for users. In response to user concerns about privacy, the company stated that since its launch, Grok Build has fully adhered to the Zero Data Retention (ZDR) principle. All users have always had the ability to disable data uploads in the command-line interface. In the early beta version, data retention was enabled by default for non-ZDR users. As of July 12, the company has disabled default data retention for all Grok Build users and is in the process of deleting all previously retained encoded data to ensure that every user's preferences are respected.
