Later on, @SenLummis questioned him about what she described as “rumors” that Federal Reserve staff may have deleted supervisory records related to Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank before Warsh took office, amid the ongoing independent review of the Fed’s supervision of those banks. Warsh said he has “no reason to believe there’s any criminal activity,” but added that the Fed would cooperate with investigators and provide access to records if requested.(Eleanor Terrett)
