[Microsoft Teaches Sales Team Tactics to 'Defeat' Anthropic and OpenAI]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, during an internal meeting held this week, Microsoft executives outlined the company's sales strategy for the fiscal year 2027, which began this month. They stated that the software giant can offer lower costs, more robust security controls, and a more comprehensive product suite.
A meeting transcript revealed that Executive Vice President Jay Parikh said on Tuesday: 'Everyone else is selling components—while we are selling a complete end-to-end system. This is the story we need to tell externally throughout fiscal year 2027.'
During the presentations that started on Tuesday and continued into Wednesday, Microsoft executives repeatedly mentioned the company's competitive positioning. (Bloomberg)
