Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining company Keel Infrastructure (NASDAQ: KEEL) announced progress on its data center project in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. The company has received approval from the local government and signed an agreement with Hydro-Sherbrooke to transfer and operate the existing 96 MW power capacity, along with signing a related land purchase agreement. Keel stated that it will consolidate the power resources of its three Bitcoin mining sites into a single 96 MW campus, and has been approved to reclassify the use of this power from Bitcoin mining to high-performance computing (HPC) and AI data center purposes. The project still requires approval from Quebec's Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy for further steps. https://(wublock123.com)/news/keel-infrastructure-96mw-power-approved-for-hpc-ai-data-centers-64675
