In June, the national urban surveyed unemployment rate was 5.0%, down 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. The surveyed unemployment rate for local household-registered labor was 5.0%, while that for non-local household-registered labor was 4.9%, including 4.8% for non-local agricultural household-registered labor. The surveyed unemployment rate in 31 major cities was 5.0%, down 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. The average weekly working hours of employees in enterprises nationwide was 48.2 hours. By the end of the second quarter, the total number of rural laborers working away from home reached 192.27 million, an increase of 0.5% year-on-year.
