Why don’t I start a paid group? Because the biggest advantage retail investors have in the capital market is their position size and time. To put it simply, heavy positions are placed on main trends measured in years. But the problem is, there are only a few secondary trends measured in one-year or even five-year units. Once there’s a profit margin, just BUY & HODL. What’s there to talk about in a paid group? If someone can talk every day, it’s probably just the same recycled stuff.
If it’s a money-printing machine operating on milliseconds, there’s no need to talk. If it’s a money-printing machine operating on years, there’s also no need to talk. A single post with 10 stock codes is usually just providing liquidity to the market.
But let’s say I started a group last year and told you the main trends ahead were storage, semiconductors, and non-ferrous metals, then didn’t say anything for the next six months—wouldn’t that be ridiculous?
The rest of the services are essentially psychological comfort. For example, if fans missed out on a certain sector, I could write ten articles telling them ‘How Not to Feel Anxious.’ That’s definitely worth the price, right? Mental health is still health, and health is priceless.
