Tempo Launches 'Receive Policies' Feature, Allowing Accounts to Restrict Token Types and Sender Addresses
Foresight News|Jul 14, 2026 02:48
Foresight News reports that payment blockchain Tempo has introduced a 'Receive Policies' feature, enabling accounts to restrict the types of tokens and sender addresses they can receive at the protocol level. This feature is optional, allowing accounts to configure accepted asset types, permitted sender addresses, and recovery permissions for rejected transfers. If a transfer does not comply with the receive policies, the transaction can still be successfully executed at the protocol level, but the funds will be routed to a safeguard mechanism and a receipt will be generated for processing by a designated recovery party. This feature is applicable to scenarios such as exchanges, custodial institutions, payment channels, and deposit gateways, effectively preventing irrelevant assets from entering accounts and converting rejected transfers into manageable recovery processes rather than lost assets.
