[Telegram Core Domain Blocked by Registry, Global t.me Links Disabled]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on July 14, according to International Cyber Digest (@IntCyberDigest), Telegram's core domain t[.]me was set to serverHold status by the .me registry today, causing the domain to be taken offline from global DNS and rendering all t.me links inaccessible. Currently, Telegram, the .me registry, and backend operator Identity Digital have not provided any public explanation. Some analysts have pointed out that .me is the national top-level domain of Montenegro, which is currently in the process of EU accession negotiations. This blockade may be related to the advancement of EU regulations.
