[Israel to Hold Parliamentary Elections on October 27, Marking the First Time in Nearly 40 Years Without Early Elections] According to a report by Golden Finance citing The Times of Israel, Ofer Katz, Chairman of the Israeli Parliament's House Committee, announced that parliamentary elections will be held on October 27. The current parliament will complete its four-year statutory term on July 17, and the elections will be held on the legally stipulated date. Israeli parliamentary legal advisor Sagit Afik stated during discussions that the current parliament "will complete its full term and will not dissolve early," meaning there is no need to propose a bill for early dissolution of parliament. This will be the first time in nearly 40 years that Israel holds parliamentary elections on the statutory date, and the first government in over 50 years to complete a full term.
