[People's Bank of China Hosts Special Lecture] On July 10, the People's Bank of China hosted a special lecture, attended and chaired by Pan Gongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of the People's Bank of China. Zhu Min, Dean of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University and former Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), delivered a lecture titled 'The Evolution of the International Monetary System: Theory and Practice.' He discussed topics such as the development process of the international monetary system, standards for measuring currency internationalization, and the development of digital currencies, sharing research findings and constructive insights.
