**[Stablecoin Total Issuance Decreases by Approximately $13.9 Billion in Recent Months, USDT on Tron Hits Record High]**
BlockBeats News, July 11: According to monitoring by EmberCN, the overall downturn in the crypto market over the past few months has led to a combined decrease of approximately $13.9 billion in the issuance of the two major stablecoins, USDT and USDC. Specifically, USDT issuance decreased by about $7.4 billion, while USDC issuance dropped by around $6.5 billion.
However, the adoption of stablecoins in real-world economic scenarios continues to grow. In the first half of this year, the actual transaction volume (ATV) of stablecoins in the real economy reached $8.82 trillion, approaching last year's record high of $10.8 trillion. USDT contributed to more than half of this volume.
Against the backdrop of an overall decline in stablecoin issuance, the issuance of USDT on the Tron blockchain has bucked the trend, rising to a record high of $90.3 billion, with an increase of approximately $2 billion in the past month. This indicates that the reduction in issuance primarily stems from the Ethereum ecosystem, which is dominated by DeFi, while demand for Tron in real-world applications such as cross-border transfers and payment settlements continues to grow steadily.
