Bitcoin closed up 1.47 percent on Friday, moving back inside the cloud after two red days earlier in the week. The high came in at 64,692, just shy of the 64,700 resistance level, and on balance volume is curling higher after the midweek pullback. I still expect Bitcoin to clear that resistance and push toward 70,000 by the end of the month, especially with a strong weekly close still in play.
Ethereum closed up nearly 3 percent with a second recent bearish close short signal, though it stayed inside the cloud below Monday's high near 1,832. My target for Ethereum remains around 2,050. Stablecoin dominance closed down with a bearish close long, and once RSI on stablecoin dominance combined turns oversold I'll treat that as the first warning to start trimming long exposure. Bitcoin dominance and Ethereum dominance both closed higher, and the Total 100 chart printed a bullish divergence cluster, which points to a possible rally across lower cap charts this month.
DXY wicked deep into the cloud before snapping back, a pattern that usually signals upcoming weakness rather than strength. USDJPY remains near a 40 year high and is showing an early bearish divergence on the weekly RSI. S&P Futures and Nasdaq stayed macro bullish into the close despite bearish on balance volume, NVIDIA filled its upper gap with a 4 percent pop, and the VIX dropped to its lowest level since January. Oil, gold and silver were mostly quiet, while a key gold ratio broke below support, a sign I'm watching for Bitcoin outperformance ahead.
