[U.S.-Iran Negotiations May Resume, But Expected to Yield Little]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, analyst Alex Alfirraz Scheers stated that although U.S.-Iran negotiations may resume, the core issue lies in the complete lack of trust between the two sides. He remarked: 'I believe these negotiations will yield very little. To a large extent, they are almost symbolic; unless there is substantial progress in building trust and enhancing confidence, these talks are likely to end fruitlessly under the current circumstances.'
Scheers pointed out that during the negotiations, the U.S. and Israel have launched two attacks on Iran, causing significant destruction. He said: 'I think Iran's hostility toward the U.S. is deeply rooted, and to a large extent, entirely justified.'
'Therefore, the fundamental division within Iran lies in this: whether the U.S. is trustworthy and whether it can truly fulfill any promises it makes.' (Jin10)
