SK Hynix raises $26.5 billion in U.S. IPO, becoming the third-largest IPO in U.S. history
According to Bloomberg, SK Hynix has completed its U.S. Depositary Receipt (ADR) issuance, raising a total of $26.5 billion at $149 per share, with 177.9 million ADRs issued. This surpasses Alibaba to become the third-largest IPO in U.S. history.
The offering price is about 3% higher than the closing price of its Seoul-listed shares on Thursday. The subscription was oversubscribed by more than seven times, with nearly half of the ADRs purchased by the top ten order accounts, and demand reaching close to $200 billion. The ADRs are expected to begin regular trading on July 13.
