Mark Zuckerberg hasn't posted on 𝕏 in 3 years.
Today, he broke the silence - and META dropped an insanely powerful new AI model.
Here's everything you need to know about Mark Zuckerberg's new Muse Spark 1.1 (and how to set it up):
Wtf is Muse Spark 1.1?
This new model is an excellent multimodal reasoning model (similar to Gemini).
It has strong agentic and coding performance at a very low price, and is available through Meta's new Model API and in Meta AI.
Meta claims it outperforms Google's Gemini 3.1 Pro and beats models from Anthropic and OpenAI in certain areas.
Muse Spark 1.1's strong points:
→ Strongest at agentic performance, tool use, and computer use
→ 1M token context window for long-running tasks
→ Can delegate execution to subagents running in parallel
→ Trained to use computer interfaces on desktop, mobile, and browser
→ Pricing: $1.25 per million input tokens, $4.25 per million output tokens, significantly cheaper than competitors.
How to test it right now:
Option 1. Meta AI (no API key needed)
Go to http://meta.ai, start a new chat, and switch from Instant mode to Thinking mode (that's Muse Spark 1.1)
Option 2. Meta Model API
Head to http://ai.meta.com/api, sign up for API preview access (US only for now), grab your key, and start prompting.
Zuck's first tweet in 3 years dropping an Opus-level agentic coding model was not on anyone's 2026 bingo card.(Miles Deutscher)
