Confirmed! The #NumberOneBeauty has shared her at-home video! Is Gate getting slapped in the face again?
Gate's facial recognition process might be at risk of being bypassed by AI—this is the second key point I think deserves thorough investigation.
Gate's official statement: 'Liveness detection is automatically reviewed by the model, with low risk, and highly consistent with KYC facial recognition.' But there are two issues here:
First, Gate explicitly stated that this review is conducted by an automated model, not manual review.
Second, the victim clearly stated: 'I did not undergo facial recognition, nor did I use an iPhone14.' If the victim's claim is true, then this becomes a very serious problem.
Because AI video generation capabilities in 2026 have far surpassed those of a few years ago. With current Deepfake technology, using just: ID photos, selfies, social media profile pictures, or video footage, it’s already possible to generate highly realistic dynamic faces.
If the exchange’s facial recognition model primarily relies on static comparison and basic liveness detection, then theoretically, it could indeed be bypassed by AI-generated videos.
