Grok4.5 is out! Three months ago, xAI was in a tough spot: lagging behind in general models, weak programming capabilities, core team departures, and an excess of computing power. Three months later, they fully acquired Cursor, launched Grok4.5, regained a spot among the top-tier closed-source models, and their data centers are now generating $25 billion in annual cash flow. Gotta say, Elon really pulled off a comeback in the AI business. This basically confirms what I mentioned in this tweet back in April about the significance of acquiring Cursor for the xAI/SpaceX/Elon ecosystem.
