[Goldman Sachs Expects Yen Depreciation Trend to Continue] According to a report by Jinse Finance on July 8, since the beginning of July, the Japanese yen has continued its downward trend against the US dollar, repeatedly hitting near 40-year lows. At one point, it fell to 162.80 yen per US dollar, marking its lowest level since December 1986. On July 6, reports from the United States indicated that the renowned investment bank Goldman Sachs expects the yen to weaken further against the dollar. Goldman Sachs has revised its 12-month forecast for the yen-to-dollar exchange rate from the previous 155 yen per US dollar to 165 yen per US dollar.
