Robots still have a huge demand for memory, no other reason.
The world model and robot motion control have already reached usable levels, leaving only the issue of manufacturing costs.
But as for the world model, the current ones are all trash and not practical.
The main issue is the lack of physical data.
However, running a world model for robots requires storage and computing power that's 10 times that of generative AI (MU's CEO's exact words).
I agree, because my storage got stuck.
