It doesn’t take divine intervention to solve the housing issue. It takes common sense - something the MA state legislature is lacking. You get the behavior you incentivize. The green energy mandates and the red tape related to permitting is forcing builders out of the state and telling them you can’t build here and make a profit. Energy, Housing and infrastructure needs are the biggest reasons I say the U.S. Senate race is the most important race this year. For example, the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit is the single biggest driver of affordable housing production in America. We need a Senator who is willing to fight to deliver those tax credits to MA - in addition to nuclear energy tax credits and Community Development Grants and earmarks.
