[JPMorgan: Indian Companies Miss AI Opportunity, Foreign Capital Withdrawing as a Result]
Reported by Jinse Finance, July 7 — Raisah Rasid, Global Market Strategist at JPMorgan Asset Management, stated that Indian companies are currently missing out on the artificial intelligence (AI) boom. Rasid pointed out that due to a lack of exposure to AI hardware themes, the Indian stock market is underperforming compared to regional peers, which is one of the reasons for the partial withdrawal of foreign capital from India. Indian companies are facing earnings downgrades, and investors are concerned about the lack of valuation rationality. However, she added that once AI applications enter the Indian market and boost productivity, the situation could become more positive. (Jin10)
