[Singapore Engages in Consultations with the U.S. on Section 301 Investigation Findings]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 7, Singapore responded to the U.S. Trade Representative's (USTR) Section 301 investigation through a written statement, asserting that Singapore has not engaged in any unreasonable or discriminatory actions, policies, or practices, nor has it imposed burdens or restrictions on U.S. commerce. In a letter dated July 6, Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry stated that there is no evidence indicating Singapore's involvement in supply chains of goods exported to the U.S. that are linked to forced labor. Singapore further noted that it is communicating with the U.S. Trade Representative's office regarding the investigation findings and proposed actions.
