[ENS DAO Proposes Delegating 5 Million ENS to Multiple Stakeholders to Restructure Governance]
According to the ENS DAO governance forum, ENS community member AvsA has proposed a draft suggesting that approximately 5,000,000 ENS tokens held by the DAO be distributed to various governance-related parties through multi-delegation contracts. The aim is to address the current issue of voting power being highly concentrated in the hands of a few representatives. The proposal plans to allocate tokens from the DAO treasury and select candidates among stakeholders such as users, integration partners (wallets, exchanges, applications), developers, traditional domain service providers, and the governance community based on predefined criteria. Each category would receive an equal delegation of approximately 1 million ENS. Delegates would only gain voting rights without the authority to dispose of the tokens, and if they fail to participate in voting for six consecutive months, their delegated tokens would be reclaimed and redistributed.
