[UAE Crude Oil Production Nears Historic High After Exiting OPEC] According to a report by Jinse Finance on July 6, citing two sources familiar with production data, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) increased its crude oil production in June to over 3.8 million barrels per day, nearing a historic high. Previously, the country officially exited the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to free itself from production caps. Estimates suggest that June's production level was the highest since April 2020, surpassing pre-Iran war production levels. This also serves as early evidence supporting the UAE's decision to exit OPEC and 'OPEC+' on May 1, a move aimed at freeing its production from quota restrictions.
