Following @aleabitoreddit’s research report, here are two key insights into the embodied intelligence track in Robotics and why this field deserves long-term attention:
1) Humanoid robots in Robotics bring AI large models out of the cloud and screens into the physical world. This could be the ultimate destination of the AI productivity revolution. No matter how smart the AI model brain is, only when it’s applied to trillion-dollar physical scenarios like manufacturing, logistics, industry, automotive, agriculture, and healthcare can all assumptions about its ability to disrupt productivity be effectively validated.
No matter how much AI model brains compete in computing power, algorithms, and applications, the final measure is how much incremental value they can unlock in the physical world. Therefore, physical AI and Robotics represent the ultimate trend in the AI technology narrative. Whether in the short term we’re hyping storage, optical modules, liquid cooling, etc., it will all eventually converge on the embodied intelligence sector.
2) The Robotics field benefits from the complementary dynamics of U.S.-China competition, providing sustained momentum for the track’s development. Specifically, the U.S. leads in the development and iteration of foundational models like Vision-Language-Action, enabling robots to simultaneously process visual, language commands, and action outputs, achieve complex end-to-end neural network control strategies, and rapidly transition from simulation environments to the real world. Meanwhile, China excels in cost control, manufacturing scale, and supply chain maturity, particularly in the mass production and cost reduction of core hardware like actuators and reducers.
This “U.S. pushing the ceiling, China solving implementation” complementary structure not only avoids reliance on a single pathway but also serves as a genuine technological catalyst and industrial support for the embodied intelligence track.
