Aside from that massive post-war rebound, the overall human birth rate has been declining. There are small rebounds during the decline, but Black and Muslim populations are increasing. In a few decades or a hundred years, the global landscape might undergo a major shift again... Although this chart is about the U.S., it's pretty similar to the overall human trend.
