[Analysis: Bitcoin Implied Volatility May Continue to Decline This Summer]
According to BIT's analysis, Bitcoin's implied volatility may further decrease this summer, approaching or even falling below 30%. Similar low-volatility environments were observed in 2023 and 2025. If this projection materializes, the compression of volatility alone could shrink option premiums by approximately 30%. Therefore, even though the current implied volatility is close to 36%, seller strategies remain relatively attractive. BIT stated that the market environment alternates between favoring option buyers and sellers, and strategies will be adjusted promptly once the market shifts.
