The second fundamental difference between altcoins and BTC lies in the information structure.
Altcoins have insiders. They know the real progress, market-making agreements, unlock schedules, pump windows, and dump plans. By the time the KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) are hyping it up to us, insiders have often already finished building their positions.
So, retail investors by default are not 'participants in a fair market' but are instead at the very end of the information chain. What you see is the narrative; what they see is the timeline.
The biggest difference with BTC is this: it has no project team, no unlock schedules, no insider meetings, and no one who can pre-arrange a dump script.
This isn’t about a difference in belief—it’s a difference in positioning within the game.
