BTSE Launches Cryptocurrency Trading Platform BTSE Indonesia in Indonesia

BlockBeats News, July 5: Blockchain trading and payment company BTSE Group recently launched the cryptocurrency trading platform BTSE Indonesia in Jakarta through a joint venture with PT Aset Kripto Internasional, completing a brand upgrade of the locally licensed platform NVX. According to reports, BTSE will provide trading infrastructure and liquidity support, while the local Indonesian team will handle market promotion, business partnerships, sales, and user growth. BTSE Indonesia stated that the company has received approval from the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK) to operate as a regulated digital financial asset trading platform. This license is also expected to support the expansion of cryptocurrency futures and other businesses in compliance with local regulatory requirements in the future. Official data shows that from January to November 2024, Indonesia's cryptocurrency trading volume reached IDR 556.5 trillion (approximately USD 31.2 billion), with registered cryptocurrency users reaching 22.11 million as of November 2024.
