[Several U.S. tech companies tighten AI spending, Tesla limits employee AI usage expenses]
Odaily Planet Daily News: Tesla will begin restricting employee expenses on artificial intelligence tools starting July 6. Similar measures have been adopted by several other U.S. tech companies. According to reports, Tesla has issued an internal memo to employees, announcing that starting July 6, each employee's weekly spending limit on AI tools will be capped at $200, with any excess requiring supervisor approval. However, Tesla employees' use of Grok, the model developed by Elon Musk's xAI, will not count toward the $200 limit. It is reported that Grok has relatively low acceptance among Tesla employees, with most still opting to use Anthropic's Claude. (CCTV Finance)
