If you still can’t tell whether a project is genuinely serious or just pure trash in this market, or if you can’t figure out whether the KOLs you follow are genuinely sharing insights or just taking paid ads, then you might as well quit the space now. I’m not being harsh—it’s just that the market no longer has room for dumb money. In the past bull markets, there was plenty of dumb money, and everyone could make gains together. Now it’s a zero-sum game, where the information gap gets exploited over and over, and project teams and KOLs are getting more and more skilled at working together. If you’re still blindly rushing in to be the exit liquidity, you’re not participating in the market—you’re just handing your money to others. What I’ve learned most deeply over the past two years is this: learn to spot trash first, then talk about making money. If you can’t see things clearly, it’s better to leave early—before it’s too late to cry about it later.
